Through my eyes and my lens… MIRROR LAKE.
I’ve always had this magnetic attraction to hair especially when the person who put it together has the confidence and demeanor to pull it off. I came across this image on The Sartorialist and almost instantly, fell in love. It’s not just the hair… the effortless white button up, the pops of color, and high heels in an urban setting. SHE MEANS BUSINESS.

The lack of color allows the photos to reflect the true essence of Yosemite… and I love it.

I had forgotten how good it feels to breathe in fresh air and being able to take in such incredible scenery with other visual folks is priceless.

Re-watched GARDEN STATE two nights ago and I must say that it was just as good (if not better) than the first time. I’ve always liked the sound track and how endearing the story played out but I’ve come to realize many aspects of the movie that I hadn’t noticed before. The first time I watched it, I had been intoxicated and had just turned 18 years old. I didn’t give it my full attention and probably halfway into a daze, I finished the movie in a blunder. Now I’ve come to appreciate the quirky humor and noticed that Zach Braff had written and directed the whole movie as well as staring as the troubled Andrew Largeman. My favorite scene is when Sam (Natalie Portman) waits for Andrew to offer her a ride on his bike and when he finally does, she hops on behind him and says, “The side is for bitches!” mmm.. warms my heart.
The soundtrack is compiled with amazing artist like (and not limited to): THE SHINS, ZERO 7, THIEVERY CORPORATION, IRON AND WINE, and FROU FROU…
You should watch Garden State.
